Fully Registered Teachers
All our teachers are Early Childhood Registered teachers, they support educators in providing quality care and education in a home based setting. Our service integrates ‘Te Whariki’, the New Zealand early childhood curriculum into the child’s everyday learning and development. We provide individual planning to meet every child’s needs and interests that reflect their physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs.
We believe that children should be encouraged to learn and grow in a safe, caring and stimulating environment that recognizes and appreciates each child’s individuality and needs.We understand that having respectful, responsive relationships with our children and their families is a key to a successful learning foundation for all children.

Events & Workshops
Participate monthly in major events organized by AWA New Zealand home based Early Childhood Centre such as a trip to Zoo, Aquarium, visit to Crystal Mountain, visit to Butterfly Valley, tip top factory tour and a host of other interactive activities.In addition to teachers visits, we organise Playgroups, Activities, Workshop to support educational care

Emma Barnett enjoys going to multi cultural festivals and events. Attending professional development courses. I enjoy books, travel and searching for fresh ways to make children’s learning educational and fun.
Jaismeen Dhillon enjoys the company of young children and believes that they are capable and competent individuals who can make decisions and take charge of their learning. She also values rich reciprocal relationships with the children, educators, and family/whanau, which are influenced by the values of trust and honesty.
I Believe that children are unique individuals who may vary at the different stages of development. I believe that children should be promoted to be actively involved in their learning and education. Building reciprocal relationships with the children and their families is very important.So teachers should value the relationships developed with children and their families.
My philosophy of education is that all children and their families are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education.
